J. Moore, Questlove, DJ Hyphen
Last Thursday, The Roots and Erykah Badu played Marymoor Park. After the show, Questlove and Black Thought made their way down to Neumos to perform a set; afterwards, Questlove held it down on the 1's and 2's the rest of the night. Thanks to CultureMob on the lookout for hookin it up with passes to the show. It was nice to finally see how Questlove does it on the decks.
Check out the videos below, as DJ Hyphen and J. Moore bust out with the flipcam to speak one on one with Questlove on a number of topics from "Rising Down" to a lost Roots album. As well as talk of a sequel to Dave Chappelle's Block Party and working on albums from Al Green and Marvin Gaye. Oh, can't forget Questlove volunteering for the Barack Obama campaign! This 5 part interview is courtesy of DJ Hyphen of The Audacity of Dope! Check out the blog. You can also click here to download the audio only version of this interview.
