Was watchin the tube last night and noticed the new AT&T Mother's Day Commercial promoting free phones. Apparently its been airing for a week strong, but this was the first time I caught it. It's a beautiful piece of work concocted by the folks over at 1stAveMachine. Though, when you go to their site and click on the AT&T project, the soundscape for the visual is different than what's presented to you and I on television. Another questionable moment for the "best rapper alive." I understand the campaign advocating the use of condoms and being strapped, but is Weezy for real for real? You're tellin me that you let this sh!t slide? Duke got his hands behind his back being held down, bent over in front of another dude. This is what we call a rainbow moment for Lil Wayne. Oh, if you didn't know, the choice brand for Mr. Dwayne Carter is Strapped Condoms. Let's not lose sight of what the ad is really supposed to be selling and remember to "go down strapped." SMH.
