Talib Kweli on KUBE 93 Sunday Night Sound Session
via DJ HyphenThe MCEO himself, Talib Kweli, stopped by KUBE 93 in Seattle on 10-5-08 to make his 4th appearance on Sunday Night Sound Session with DJ Hyphen and J. Moore. The trio talked all about his current projects, including updates on the next Reflection Eternal album, his Idle Warship group with Res & Graph Nobel, and all things Blacksmith. They also discussed what it's like to operate his own label, how new media has affected his career, a little politics, and more.

This Friday we have something a little special for all of you. We didn't have a proper opener to our "Filthy Nice" Fridays, so this weekend we're bringing in two of the finest DJ's to make it official! With a some love from the club and other sponsors, we were able to make this happen.

The show was bananas! Massive Monkees & Coosh put on a great event flying out many heads from outside the country to compete in a 2 on 2 battle with 10 stacks up for grabs. Performances from Seattle's own, Dyme Def, and emerging artist B.o.B. along with LA's Pacific Division. We're still digesting all that went down and have much more to come.
