Sir Mix-A-Lot Interview with Surve Notice

Surve Notice (What's Up! College Edition, TCC) interviews Sir Mix-A-Lot where he states that he didn't necessarily represent the "Seattle Sound" which was unwanted pressure when it wasn't his sound. He offers his insight on how keepin it real can go wrong for an artist. It's all about the hooks according to Mix-A-Lot. In addition he lists off George Clinton, James Brown, Bootsy Collins, Kraftwerk and Prince as his influences. Before the footage cuts off, we find out how Baby Got Back came about. via Survenotice
