Choklate @ Jazz Alley TONIGHT

If you're wondering what to do tonight, you've got to check out Choklate this evening at Jazz Alley. She performed last night and she's incredible in the live form. The recorded studio tracks that she has out now are great and all, but when you watch and listen to her in the flesh, she can blow you away. Really a talent that's going to go far in this game because she's so versatile and can rip it on the mic no matter the beat. I hear that she has a DVD that may come out sometime this spring. I'm imagining it's footage of her touring throughout the country compiled into one documentary style film.

So, back to the lecture at hand, basically get your ass to see Choklate this evening. If you didn't know, Jazz Alley has never booked an artist in her genre before which makes it historic in its close to 30 year existence. Doors open at 5:30 tonight and showtime starts at 7:30pm which gives you plenty of time to sip on some grape juice and catch dinner at the venue. All the information you need by clicking here.
