With the release of the second generation of Zune devices, another party is in order. I attended the first shindig for the launch of the initial media player back in January of this year. Bun B made an appearance as Ab Liva and the Clipse took the stage. The show was packed full of that snow white rap as the cool kids on the floor rapped word for word. That first show was celebrating the collaboration between Capitol 1524 and Zune on a limited edition version as seen below.
This second effort between Zune and another Seattle boutique, Goods, will be celebrated at The War Room on Friday, November 30th. Bun B will be back, perhaps he'll perform this time, alongside Swizz Beatz. A FREE show you can't beat (pause), other than yourself (and pause), if you don't remember to RSVP! Click here to get on the list. It's showtime snitches!

I've been following Five Four Clothing for several years and when I was in Macy's this past weekend, I noticed a small section of their clothing on the floor. Man have they come a long way and I've always been rootin for them. I dig their approach and dig the brand even moreso as evidenced in the video above. What better way to get a message out there and get the internets buzzin about a company that's not conventional and visionary in their outlook. Enjoy!

AT&T's new commercial (created by Sanders\Wingo and directed by Chris Robinson) brings sneaker culture to the forefront. Sets were created to mimic actual stores like: ALife, Undefeated, Solebox, and Motive807. Check it out.

Goods and Manik are proud to present the work of Alist ‘Chinatown’. The show opens Nov. 8th and runs through Dec 28th.
Visually rich, multi-layered, full of details and brimming with energy, Chinatown is Alists’ preferred subject to gain inspiration while researching and executing his illustrative and creative work. His past clients include Nike, Stussy and Supreme. It‘s quite possible that you may find him amongst your busy Chinatown streets drawing quietly or continuing to explore new territory.
Alist has currently undertaken a self-initiated, eight city “Chinatown World Tour”. The tour will document, illustrate and exhibit work that is influenced by each host cities’ Chinatown District.
GOODS is the benevolent host of the Seattle segment of the tour which debuted in 2006 at the Reed Space in New York City. Other stops have included Nomad in Toronto and DPMHI Gallery in London.
A well rounded artist, who specializes in using low grade materials to produce high end results, his haunting large format depictions of Chinatown streetscapes and other illustration featuring staples such as bootleg merchandise and discarded Chinese packaging. Other imagery is depicted using silkscreen processes or layered vinyl sticker paper. Found packaging is recycled to construct garments. Tins, bottles, and boxes are re-branded and arranged to make sculptural arrangements of Chinatown grocery shelves and street curb rubbish. Awnings, meat hooks, bamboo steamer trays and other omnipresent Chinatown items are all given new context when presented within each Alist Chinatown World Tour gallery experience.
Rik Cordero of Three/21 Media is a fcukin beast when it comes to the video music game! What I like about this dude is that he's aligning himself with artists who are back on their grizzly. Looks like rappers who've been in it for a minute are seeking the assistance of Rik when painting a visual to a track. This cat's been pumpin it up like Joe Budden. Speaking of which, you can see Rik's latest video featuring Buddens in Star Inside Of Me. Enjoy!

Since Trent Reznor and Madonna ditched their labels, the trend of artists distributing their content dolo is catchin on. You can download Saul Williams' latest work by donating some of that chedda for 320kbps/lossless or for free and receive it in 192kbps. Interesting concept that I imagine more artists doing in the future.
Scene is on his way outta Seattle onto greater opportunities. Though, he states he'll be back in the town from time to time. For now, he'll be packin up his utensils and making his kitchen in Frisco. Click here on an old Stranger article that highlights Scene's history from his start to where he's at currently. Below is straight from Scene's website.

What's up everyone! I've had a lot of people ask me lately if I'm moving. Yes, the rumors are true. I'm moving to San Francisco Nov. 18th! I still love my home town of Seattle WA and will be back as often as possible, but I felt it was time to change my home base. I'm no longer on the air with KUBE 93 (Clear Channel Seattle) but I will continue to do my national mixshows on XM Radio 67 'The City'
On another note, people have been asking when they can download the "Go Sailing remix". If you click on 'audio/video'... Go Sailing is right there and ready for free download. It's also posted on Myspace.com/djscene if you want to ADD the song to your profile, or you just want to add another friend.
Thanks to everyone that checks the site regularly for new downloads and updates. Feel free to grab any remixes and mashup you'd like, free of charge
for bookings please contact firstname.lastname@example.org

Good morning. The scripture says.. Protect your heart with all diligence.. (Remember!) Never let any negativity going on outside of you get on the inside of you. (Protect your inner life!)After all... You have to live there!!!! What's going on outside of you is one thing but what's going on inside of you is much more important! Stay strong!
God is Love
